Game conclusion...

Well, I've laid low for a reason. It was time to step back and watch this team from afar and really look at it up close if that makes any sense. From far away this team looks good, almost Jessica Simpson good. Up close its Jessica Simpson without the proactive. Don't get me wrong, all in all I think the Giants made the right move going to the cubbard and rebuild but man, in the wake of winning the first two games against Arizona, as soon as I did the math and realized it would be Zito against the Big Red Ass Unit I know the outcome. Now, Zito is pitching better and is it me, or does he actually look awake? At times I swear he looked kinda upset. Maybe theres a little fire in the gut after all. All too many times when they pan in to Zito you'd get that hippy dippy look of his but Zito looks like he is trying and his pitching is looking better. BUT. I've said it once and I'll say it again. Barry is no number 1. But like Matt Cain last year, he's gonna have to take some lumps, or losses. Next year when Lincecum becomes the ace you can expect the loses to come piling on also unless the Giants bats can pick up. Not that the offense is offensive. It's actually been an offensive offense. (in a good way). My man Ortmeier is kinda struggling though and that has me down but having seen some of the troops down in Fresno, I am happy to say the glass is indeed, half full my friends. Rejoice Giant fans. The worm is about to turn. Viva los Gigantes!
